Cocoa seeds are extracted, dried, and then ground into powder, and it is known that there are several types of cocoa, and this determines the quality and taste of chocolate over the rest of the other types, and in this article we present a method for preparing chocolate at home.
- Making chocolate at home

- Two sticks of soft butter.
- A cup of concentrated milk.
- Three tablespoons of powdered milk.
- Three tablespoons of powdered sugar.
- A cup of good unsweetened plain cocoa powder.
The filling

How to prepare
- We prepare the butter, then put it in a stainless steel bowl or in any heat-conducting container, and it must be non-glass.
- We prepare a liter of water, then put the pot on the fire, and put another pot over it that conducts heat over it so that it forms a tight cover for the pot, in order to create a water bath, and cook the chocolate in it without direct heat affecting its taste or burning.
- Put the butter in the bowl and stir until it is completely melted.
- We put the powdered milk on top of the butter and stir the ingredients until they become homogeneous with each other.
- Add the sugar and sweetened condensed milk and stir the mixture until it becomes thick in the water bath.
- Add the cocoa powder and stir constantly until we get a mixture of somewhat cohesive thick chocolate.
- We prepare silicone chocolate molds, then put the filling granules inside each mold as desired, pour the chocolate into the molds, leave it until it cools to kitchen temperature, then put it in the refrigerator until it solidifies completely.
- We take it out of the molds and serve it cold with coffee, aluminum foil can be used instead of silicone molds , as follows:
We put the chocolate mixture in another bowl, then put it in the refrigerator until it cools down and holds together a little, until it takes shape and divides with a spoon.
We prepare aluminum foil, then cut it into medium-sized squares.
We bring the chocolate from the refrigerator, then put a spoonful of each aluminum plate with one or more grains of filling, and press it to be in the middle of the chocolate, after which we roll the chocolate as desired while stretching it and enabling it to take the desired shape.
We keep the chocolate beans in the fridge until they solidify and stick together.
- Chocolate with cocoa butter
the ingredients
- Cocoa butter cup.
- A cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.
- Half a cup of honey.
- A teaspoon of vanilla.
- different flavors:
- Chopped roasted almonds.
- Dried orange.
- Mint flavour.
- Hazelnut powder.
Method of preparation
- Melt cocoa butter in a kettle or glass container over a small bowl (water bath ) with a little water, making sure that the water does not touch the bowl, and put on medium heat.
- Add cocoa powder to honey, vanilla and other flavors after the butter has completely melted, and remove from heat.
- We mix and make sure that all the ingredients are well combined, at this stage we make sure that there is no water or liquid in the chocolate because it could damage the chocolate.
- We pour the chocolate into molds or on parchment paper and leave it on the table until it cools.
- We serve it after it cools down.
